Upon completing his studies at the Palacký University Faculty of Law in Olomouc, Michal worked as a legal adviser in the non-profit sector. This included providing external legal advice for the Centre for the Support of the Integration of Foreign Nationals (Ministry of the Interior). In 2014, he became a trainee solicitor at Žaneta Vítů’s law firm in Břeclav, before joining MELKUS KEJLA & PARTNERS in October 2016. He passed his bar exam in 2017 and is now practising law at the Břeclav office of MELKUS KEJLA & PARTNERS.
Drawing on his previous experience, Michal deals primarily with civil, family and administrative law, specialising in immigration law. However, his work also covers other legal sectors, such as criminal, commercial, labour and insolvency law and church restitution issues. He is also well versed in private international law on account of the many foreign nationals who contact him. In this area, Michal has successfully represented a significant number of clients in court and before bodies of state administration.
