Vítek has been working at MELKUS KEJLA & PARTNERS advokátní kancelář s.r.o. since the beginning of 2018 and currently leads the Legal Analysis Department (LAD). Vítek is passionate about obtaining information from various sources, analysing the documents, finding connections between them, evaluating them and then presenting them to colleagues and clients.

His department has access to a multitude of databases and archives, including foreign sources. Vitek has rich experience in information and communication technology law, international arbitration as well as insolvency proceedings. Already during his studies, he successfully represented the Faculty of Law of Charles University in the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot competition, both in Vienna and Hong Kong. He focused primarily on procedural law issues related to the application of the arbitration rules of the Arbitration Institution of the Swiss Chamber, as well as substantive law in the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. In his spare time, Vitek enjoys exploring the interplay between law and information technology, not only from the perspective of IT legal regulation, but also from the perspective of the impact of the latest technologies on the very way legal services are provided.
